On this segment of Make My Logo Bigger, we sit with our good friend and marketing and communications professional, Callie Gallant. With nearly 2 decades of experience in strategic communications and planning, Callie now sits as the Director of Marketing and Communications at our local not-for-profit summer camp for children with chronic health issues, Brigadoon Village.
For those unfamiliar with Brigadoon, it’s a non-profit pediatric medical camp facility on Aylesford Lake in the Annapolis Valley. With their partners, they deliver year-round camp programming to children, youth, and families living with health conditions or other life challenges in Atlantic Canada. Their mission is to passionately transform the lives of their campers by helping them reach their full potential through experiential learning, meaningful connections and exceptional fun.
They’ve experienced tremendous growth over 10 years in operation and can now accommodate over 3,500 children & youth at the nearly 30 camp programs they host throughout the year.
Brigadoon is the first facility of its kind in Atlantic Canada and is now the largest pediatric medical camp in Canada - and it’s Callie’s job to market them appropriately.
